There is a mass evolution
or unfolding taking place. We may be living in a kind of fractal
in which every part of the fractal represents the whole of
the fractal, infinitely in all directions.
As our paradigm shifts our
art shifts. Theories change knowledge, which affects our view
of things, which in turn can affect the nature of art. But
this can work in the reverse order as well.
It is a kind of trickle down,
trickle up, and sideways butterfly effect in real-time. As
the speed of the exchange of information increases because
of technology, the speed of the shift of knowledge increases.
But even this is a small view of things and it can be much
more complex then this, especially when new ideas in physics
come into play. There could be an exchange of knowledge that
happens on an invisible level based on higher dimensional
fluctuations of a meta-consciousness.
The theory of Quantum physics,
touches on the fact that we fix the outcome of what we observe
when we observe it, and recent discoveries in string theory
pose the possibility that there may be a vast landscape of
universes in every possible state of physics, for one such
as our specific universe to exist. We may be manifesting our
reality out of a landscape of all possible variations of reality.
Thus art may be a constituent of the evolutionary process.
